Aleutian Low

In 2003 Danielle finally started gigging and recording with her hard rock band, Aleutian Low. Danielle fronted the band and co-wrote with friend and guitarist Thom Wagstaff. Hailing originally from the almost exotic combination of North America, Africa and King's Heath, the band didn't have the easiest of starts. Between 2001 and 2003, songwriting ground to a halt numerous times, with Thom battling cancer and Danielle dealing with a collapsed gall bladder.

Although short-lived, Aleutian Low performances provided left hooks to the unsuspecting listener's ear. Lyrically the group explored the darker edges of spiritual life, depression and the glimmers of hope found in family and the Creator.
