Zang and Birmingham rapper Barrowclough have been merry bed fellows for a number of years. Stages have been shared, Yuletide collaborations materialised, backing vocals, video appearances, etc, etc. It has all been leading unstoppably to this: Barrowcough’s debut Zang release. It’s the first of two EPs and is a combination of personal reflection, God obsession and basic silliness. All of this with a reminiscent tear in his eye for the days of hip hop’s pioneers. Basically its what you would expect Scott La Rock to be making if he was still alive (and had been brought up in Surrey in a monastery).

Whats more it is free. (Yes, free!) The next one will cost megabucks, but this is a generous gift from Zang. Drink up!
